K.R.J. & STARO got together a late autumn night in 2008.
They were soon to be the founders of a consept called “House Addiction”
House Addiction is a result of their huge passion for house music, and it is a nationwide club consept and Worldwide podcast every month.
The House Addiction podcast is based on what they play on their gigs, stripped down to 1 Hour.
After a few successful gigs, K.R.J. & STARO combined their talent and started producing
electro, progressive and house music together.
STARO
Staro started his music experience pretty early in life, joining the local towns marching band as a drummer at the age of 6. When he turned 8 he started taking lessons in how to play the keyboard, this was his main hobby up to the age of 12. At the age of 15 he started playing the guitar and took classical guitar courses, but it was first in 1996, that he got the real taste for electronic music. He started making music in Fast Tracker 2 to start with. In 2001 he got his first midi equipment and started using Cubase as a Sequencer. In 2005 he had his first Radio Hit in Norway called “I loose my Way”. It lasted 14 weeks on the chart but was never released. It was during that time he met one of his fellow Co-producer’s Akki, who also had a hit on the charts. This was the beginning of his main project ” C-Systems”.
Staro has had a great success the past few years with his project C-Systems wich is
beginning to be a well known trance act in the scene. This year seems to be an even bigger year for them already releasing “Embrace. Feat. Van Dresen” on the prestigeous ” In trance we trust”
2008 was the year he met up with K.R.J. After a few successful gigs, they soon realized that they had the same passion for the broad genre of House music.
After a few months they got in contact with a house label, soon getting their first remix assignment.
K.R.J. Had already been makin some groovy house sounds and was remixed by Denzal Park.
K.R.J:
K.R.J. started of as a young clubber who got sick of the same commercial crap played over and over, so he started to produce music for himself as a bedroom producer
.
After a few years he started playing at some local venues with great success.
People loved his ability to mix together house from diffrent genres and put his own touch to it.
K.R.J. & STARO has big plans for the future, not only with their popular podcast, also getting remix assignments and being signed to upcoming labels.
